Terms of Service & User Agreement

1. Acceptance & Scope of Services

Duozy.in is an online technology intermediary platform that facilitates social, cultural, and activity-based companionship connections between consenting adults. All services rendered through or arranged via Duozy.in are strictly limited to platonic social presence — including cinema outings, dining, cafe conversations, fitness/gym companionship, city travel guidance, and corporate or family plus-one arrangements.

2. Eligibility & Mandatory 18+ Age Requirement

Use of Duozy.in is strictly restricted to individuals who are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a valid contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Any registration by a minor constitutes a material breach and will result in immediate termination and reporting.

3. Absolute Platonic Standard & Zero Tolerance for Intimacy

Duozy.in does not operate as an escort agency, adult service, dating portal, or matrimonial bureau:

• Zero Physical Intimacy: Any solicitation, request, demand, or offer of sexual favors, physical intimacy, romantic coercion, or adult content is strictly prohibited.
• Public Locations Mandate: All interactions must occur in open, publicly accessible commercial establishments (cafes, cinemas, malls, restaurants, museums). Meeting in private residences, private hotel rooms, or isolated vehicles is an explicit violation.
• Immediate Enforcement: Any user violating the platonic standard will face lifetime blacklisting, forfeiture of all wallet/membership credits, and immediate formal reporting to law enforcement under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Information Technology Act, 2000.

4. Mandatory Membership Pass Requirement (All 3 User Roles)

To maintain platform integrity, ensure identity accountability, and prevent spam, Duozy requires an active Membership Pass for all participants:

• Universal Requirement: An active Membership Pass is strictly mandatory across all three user roles: (1) Clients looking to book companion services, (2) Companions offering companionship, and (3) Dual users registered for Both roles.
• Feature Gating: Accounts without an active Membership Pass cannot unlock companion contact credits, initiate meetup proposals, or confirm booking requests.
• Strictly Non-Refundable Passes: All Membership Pass purchases are strictly non-refundable once activated, as digital contact credits and verification bandwidth are provisioned immediately upon payment.
• 100% Booking Refund Protection: While membership passes are non-refundable, companion bookings are 100% protected. If an outing cannot take place due to companion cancellation, no-show, or OTP verification failure, the client receives a 100% full refund of the booking amount, and contact credits are restored.
• Pass Validity: Membership Passes carry 30-day validity and are processed securely through certified payment gateways (Razorpay). Contact credits roll over upon renewal before expiry.

5. Platform Service Fee & Companion Payouts (20% Policy)

To maintain automated identity verification infrastructure, provide encrypted 4-digit Meetup OTP verification, and fund 24/7 live SOS emergency monitoring, Duozy charges a standard 20% platform service fee:

• This 20% platform fee applies to all completed companion outings across all user account categories.
• Companions receive 80% net take-home earnings, settled directly to their registered UPI or bank account upon successful completion and OTP validation of the meetup.
• Attempting to bypass the platform's 4-digit OTP or safe payment mechanism to conduct unverified off-platform transactions is strictly prohibited and leads to immediate account debarment.

6. Identity Verification (KYC) & Encrypted 4-Digit OTP

Companions must complete mandatory identity verification (Government ID plus real-time live selfie check). Both parties are required to verify the encrypted 4-digit Meetup OTP at the venue before commencing any outing.

7. User Conduct & Safety SOS

Both clients and companions retain the absolute right to terminate any interaction immediately if they feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or disrespected. The in-app Safety SOS feature instantly transmits location and alert telemetry to our response team and emergency services.

8. Limitation of Liability

Duozy provides identity checks, automated OTP handshakes, and public safety guidelines. While we enforce strict verification standards, Duozy does not employ companions as agents or servants; users interact as independent individuals. Users agree to exercise customary personal caution and uphold the 5 Golden Rules at all times.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi / Bengaluru, India.
